O Sistema não se destina a responder a situações de emergência ou àquelas em que é necessária a resposta imediata das forças ou serviços de segurança, designadamente quando o crime está a ser cometido. Neste caso deve contactar, de imediato, o Número Nacional de Emergência – 112.
